Across from Tianfu Square in the business district, the Chengdu hotel is strategically positioned within minutes of cultural sites, historic teahouses, luxury shopping and business hubs.
There’s an intimate spa on the 23rd floor with 10 treatment rooms. Here, you will find tea- and herb-infused treatments, as well as services featuring excellent products from Swiss skincare brand Valmont.
Also on the 23rd floor, there’s a 82-foot-long indoor swimming pool — with underwater music — and a large fitness center.
Throughout the luxury hotel, the design pays tribute to Chengdu’s past as a Silk Road outpost with details made from wood, silk, marble and metal.
The Ritz-Carlton, Chengdu has earned applause for its restaurants, particularly Li Xuan, where you can try Sichuanese and Cantonese specialties.

Things to Know

Located in the Sichuan province of western China, Chengdu was an especially prominent point on the Silk Road, dating back to the second century B.C.
Chengdu is known for its beautiful silks, spices, tea and red-hot Sichuan cuisine — and was even named a UNESCO “City of Gastronomy.”
The city itself is easy to explore thanks to cheap taxis and an efficient metro system.
Outside of the city, explore China’s rural beauty in areas like the Jiuzhai Valley National Park, Mount Qingcheng, or the Chengdu panda base.

The prestigious gastronomic address is home to five restaurants and bars, each serving a different flavor. For an elegant night out, head to Li Xuan Chinese restaurant for Sichuan and Cantonese cuisine, or to the Dining Room for Mediterranean flair.
All-day dining sees a theatric spin at Spices, where chefs showcase international cooking techniques at live stations.
Afternoon tea is best enjoyed at the panoramic Lobby Lounge on the 25th floor. Stratospheric views combine with a traditional tea service for lavish experience.
