From top to bottom, the 393-room address exudes whimsical wonder in its larger-than-life décor. Designed by Yasumichi Morita of Japan’s Glamorous Co. and Nic Graham of G+A in Australia, the property’s enchanted forest theme comes alive with twinkling timber LED lights, oversized mosquito sculptures (designed by Australian James Angus), black-and-white holograms and sky-high ceilings lined with woodland motifs.
The dazzling experience begins in the lobby, where a 130-foot-tall twig column appears to grow like a vine up the side of the hotel and glass bubble elevators provide unforgettable views of Hong Kong’s dense and colorful shipping docks.
- The 2,100-square-foot Extreme Wow Suite is what dreams
are made of: there’s a private bar, a dining room, an elevated bedroom and one
of the largest hotel bathtubs we’ve seen (about 10 feet long) — all with
harbor-facing views.
- On the 76th floor, Wet Deck is among the most famous
rooftops in Hong Kong. Not only is it home to the city’s highest outdoor pool,
but this hot spot is known for throwing monthly DJ pool parties throughout the
summer.
- Take in stunning harbor views from almost anywhere in
this stylish hotel. Grab a seat (and a cocktail) to watch the mesmerizing
movements of Hong Kong’s Lego-like cargo containers.
- Equipped with the W brand’s own Bliss
Spa (Asia’s
first), the Hong Kong hotel’s relaxing 9,000-square-foot retreat sits on the
72nd floor — providing panoramic harbor views from the relaxation lounge, nail
salon and nine treatment rooms.
- It seems
a small detail, but we love the thoughtful elevator lobbies. A few sets of
stark white bookshelves channel Alice in Wonderland, providing a surprisingly calm common area.
- W Hong Kong is connected to Elements Mall, where you
can find all the top international designers, excellent restaurants and even an
ice skating rink.
- Getting around is relatively easy: from Kowloon
Station, take the MTR to Central in just one stop, hop on a bus through the
Western tunnel or catch a cab outside.
- To enjoy sunset views over the ocean or the harbor,
request a Fabulous room (or higher) and a bottle of bubbly.
- Love the music at Woobar? Ask about the hotel’s
dedicated Spotify playlists. W Hong Kong has its own resident music curator, so

- Roughly two-thirds of the accommodations come with
harbor views, though the city and port vistas are also fascinating.
- Aside from the top suites, our favorite spot is the
Cool Corner Room. There’s a comfortable window seat overlooking both the city
and harbor, as well as an oversized tub with panoramas.

they vary in design, each room maintains the standard W amenities: keyless

quirky snacks, a comprehensive mini-bar brimming with premium spirits and Bang
