Windjammer Landing Resort & Residences

St. Lucia’s all-inclusive Mediterranean retreat
VERIFIED LUXURY

With dozens of terracotta-roofed white stucco buildings dotting 65 verdant hillside acres, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort could easily be mistaken for a tranquil coastal village in Italy or Greece — until you look closer. Swaying palms, white sands and the sapphire-blue Caribbean Sea reveal that the luxury all-inclusive resort resides in St. Lucia.

Fresh off a multi-million-dollar renovation, Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort fully embraces its tropical locale along the northwest coast in Labrelotte Bay with a refreshing redesign inspired by the ocean, locally influenced menus in its restaurants featuring dishes with ingredients from St. Lucian farmers and fishermen and a new rooftop bar that sets the scene for a night out on the Caribbean isle.

When it’s time to call it an evening, retire to one of the hotel’s 220 accommodations, which include contemporary waterfront villas, beachfront suites and charming hillside rooms.

Our Inspector's Highlights

  • Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort is a sun worshipper’s dream with six swimming pools and a crescent-shaped stretch of white sand beach on which you can stroll, suntan or even swing from a partially submerged hammock.
  • If you can tear yourself away from the resort’s crystalline waters, opt for an island excursion with Jammin’ Tours. Zip-lining through the rainforest, dolphin and whale watching, volcano tours, horseback riding and scuba diving expeditions are just a few of the adventures on offer.
  • In addition to a juice bar, steam room and a variety of rejuvenating treatments, Serene Wellness & Spa offers two unique takes on yoga instruction: hummingbird yoga in a lush garden or paddleboard yoga on the ocean for those looking for a little more challenging. In late 2023, it will unveil St. Lucia’s first medi-spa focusing on cutting-edge anti-aging and rejuvenating treatments.
  • The St. Lucia hotel is an ideal family retreat thanks to its spacious villas, all-inclusive dining options, endless excursions and, most notably, its beloved Jacquot Fun Club.
  • For the most luxurious stay, check into one of the villas. The Manor Collection, the resort’s newly renovated estate villas, come with pools and sweeping Caribbean Sea vistas from the top of the hillside (watch for the more than 4,000-square-foot Presidential Manor — the property’s largest villa — to debut soon). Another option is the Ocean Point Residences, two- and three-bedroom beachfront villas with multiple terraces, infinity pools, fully equipped kitchens and more.

The Restaurants
  • Hit the beach to sip cocktails and tuck into Caribbean (like oxtail and goat stew) and international fare (like burgers and quinoa salad) at Jammers. At night, the casual eatery offers live music and lights up the fire pits.
  • At modern steakhouse Upper Deck, enjoy succulent steaks and perfectly grilled fresh catch paired with exquisite sunset views.
  • The beachside Masala at Embers provides an elegant dining experience, serving up authentic Indian cuisine from chef Vikrham Singh.
  • Dragonfly debuted a brand-new look, complete with a swanky rooftop bar and lounge. Dubbed The Perch by Dragonfly, the colorful space features hand-painted murals from Caribbean artist Sandy Layne depicting jaw-dropping ocean views as seen from the restaurant.
  • Come to hillside trattoria Papa Don’s for Italian dishes like champagne shrimp risotto, pizza and spicy rigatoni.
