Designed to reinvigorate your body after a day of adrenalin-inducing entertainment, the 3,900-square-foot spa offers a variety of treatments to help restore energy and release tension.
Decorated to reflect the rustic coziness of the surrounding lodge, the spa is adorned in a clean neutral color scheme of warm earth tones as well as natural elements of wood and stone that add texture. The alluring facility is dimly lit with candles and filled with the serene sounds of water and crackling fire to transport you to a peaceful state of mind.
Our Inspector's Highlights
- Before your treatment, you’ll have the option to select which scent of Elemis skincare products your therapist will use in the service. Small stone basins are filled with samples of each scent, providing a customizable experience.
- A lavish array of fresh fruit and infused water is supplied for you to enjoy while unwinding in the relaxation room.
- One of Stillwell Spa’s more modern treatment enhancements is the oxygen bar. Use inhalation therapy to help relieve elevation sickness, release stress or get a boost of energy for the next outdoor adventure.
- Browse the shop at the front of the Alta spa. Here, you can purchase products used during your treatment along with other local finds.
- A high point of the spa is the indoor grotto. An enclosed sultry pool fed by two waterfalls allows for a quiet soak no matter the time of year.

- During summer, the luxury spa offers a limited treatment menu. You can still indulge in a quick massage or facial, but the winter offerings are much more robust.

- A vast array of treatments caters to your every need. Pamper yourself with a classic manicure and pedicure or indulge in a collagen-charged Lustrous Age Defy facial.
- After a day on the slopes, there’s nothing better than a soothing massage. The Alta spa has six variations, including a Swiss-inspired Mountain Bliss rubdown, the aromatic Deeply Treat and a unique Thai/Su massage that blends Thai and shiatsu techniques to stretch out sore muscles.
- Onsite makeup artists and stylists are available for wedding parties, business meetings or everyday use. Treat yourself to a lash and brow tint, blowout or wax.
- From the Signature Mountain Healing collection, opt for the Nourish and Balance service. This head-to-toe pampering session starts with a cleansing lime and ginger foot scrub, followed by an Elemis Body Nectar Wrap, scalp massage and facial.
